This time your challenge, if you manage to remember it, is to write a Life on Mars
story involving amnesia in some way.
Symptoms of amnesia include disorientation or confusion, difficulty remembering new information and an inability to recall things you once knew. The language centres of the brain can also be affected. In some cases, memory loss can make daily life so difficult for a person that they need constant care and supervision. Amnesia can be caused by a physical injury to the brain, a brain tumour, a stroke, or a traumatic emotional experience. Hypnosis can be used to treat those whose amnesia is caused by emotional trauma.
Entries are due by February 14th. Happy writing!
